About Waterfall Garden ParkThe Waterfall Garden Park is one of those amazing hidden waterfall gardens in the area of the Pioneer Square, on 2nd Avenue.
The Waterfall Garden Park was designed by Masao Kinoshita to honor the workers of UPS (United Parcel Services) and it was built in 1977 by the Annie E. Casey Foundation. The setting of the garden is very pleasant with those Japanese maples and pots of bright flowers among café tables, chairs and benches that invite you all to simply lose any notion of time, not to mention worries, and sit back and enjoy the beauty of nature.
It can actually be considered a secret garden due to its location in the midst of the city’s hustle, concealed by fenced walls; however, once you get in the park, there is no way you won’t be tempted to stay: the trees, the lovely waterfall and the little pond inside create a lovely setting for the little tables and chairs.
Actually, the Waterfall Garden Park is a nice place to go study because it is so peaceful and relaxing, also indicated for those who want to take a break from work.
