About Pacific PlacePacific Place is definitely a place to visit in downtown Seattle, Washington. It is an upscale mall located on Sixth Avenue and Pine Street.
The construction of Pacific Place was part of the plan for Seattle’s revival that began in 1995.
This complex, the investment of which was estimated at $500 million, was designed to resemble a collection of smaller buildings that expanded over time, thus occupying one of the largest blocks in the center of Seattle.
The mall was officially opened in October 1998. With a total surface of 335,000 square feet, Pacific Place has 5 floors and the top floor boasts with an 11-screen AMC Theatre and dining. The Pacific Place offers certain amenities: on the mid level center there is an entrance to the recently constructed Barney’s store, while the concourse level includes a Barnes & Noble bookstore and EB Games.
Also, the atrium will enchant you during the holidays because it snows every night with artificial snow. Pacific Place becomes quite singular due to its panopticon prison layout.
