About Experience Music Project Museum (EMP)The Experience Music Project Museum (EMP) was founded by Paul Allen, the Microsoft co-founder, and it opened its doors to the public in 2000. Due to the fact that the Experience Music Project Museum (EMP) struggled in its beginnings, Paul Allen established the SFM in its south wing. At first they perceived separate admission, but starting with 2007 a single fee is charged for both museums.
The Experience Music Project Museum (EMP) boasts with collections of rock history and technology-intensive multimedia displays. The exhibits consist of rare artifacts belonging to popular music history and visitors have the chance to experience the past dimension of music, but they can also enjoy interactive exhibitions such as Sound Lab and On Stage.
